1. Company Information

Petralune is a premium sedan rental service operating from 12 Jalan Hang Tuah, 75300 Melaka, Malaysia. Enquiries may be directed to [email protected] or +60 19-735 2641.

2. Services Offered

Petralune currently offers three sedan rental arrangements:

• Half-Day Premium Sedan — up to 6 hours, includes courteous handover and a familiarisation session. Priced at RM 620.
• Three-Day Premium Sedan — three consecutive days, includes scheduled cleaning between days and a dedicated contact person. Priced at RM 2,500.
• Weeklong Premium Sedan — seven days, includes door-step delivery and pickup, valet on request, and an end-of-rental summary report. Priced at RM 4,600.

Service descriptions on our website are for informational purposes. Final arrangements are confirmed through direct communication.

3. Booking and Confirmation

Submitting a contact form on our website does not constitute a confirmed booking. A rental arrangement is only confirmed once both parties have agreed on the dates, terms, and any specific requirements in writing or by telephone.

We will make reasonable efforts to confirm availability within one to two working days of receiving an enquiry. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. We are closed on Sundays and Malaysian public holidays.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice, but any confirmed booking will be honoured at the price agreed at the time of confirmation.

Payment terms are communicated directly during the booking process. We reserve the right to request a deposit prior to the start of the rental period.

5. Eligible Renters

To rent a vehicle from Petralune, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Hold a valid Malaysian driving licence or an internationally recognised driving permit accepted in Malaysia
• Present valid identification at the point of handover

We reserve the right to decline an arrangement if the above conditions are not met or if we have reasonable concern about the intended use of the vehicle.

6. Use of the Vehicle

The vehicle is made available for personal or professional use within Malaysia. The following conditions apply during the rental period:

• The vehicle must be operated only by the named renter, unless otherwise agreed in advance
• The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activity or in any manner inconsistent with standard road use
• The renter is responsible for any traffic or parking fines incurred during the rental period
• Smoking is not permitted inside the vehicle
• The vehicle must be returned in the same general condition as received, with reasonable wear accepted

7. Handover and Return

Handover takes place at an agreed location, typically our Melaka address or a mutually convenient point. For the Weeklong arrangement, door-step delivery and pickup are included as standard.

At the time of handover, a brief walkthrough of the vehicle's condition will be conducted. Any pre-existing marks or concerns will be noted and acknowledged by both parties. You are encouraged to raise any questions during this session.

The vehicle must be returned at the agreed time. Late returns may incur an additional charge, calculated on a pro-rata basis, and will be communicated to you before being applied.

8. Damage and Liability

The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle that occurs during the rental period and that is not attributed to pre-existing conditions documented at handover.

We recommend that renters carry adequate personal motor insurance where applicable. Details of any applicable insurance arrangements will be discussed at the time of confirmation.

Petralune is not liable for any loss of personal belongings left in the vehicle, or for indirect losses arising from a vehicle becoming unavailable due to mechanical issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Cancellation and Changes

If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed arrangement, please contact us as early as possible. Cancellation terms are as follows:

• Cancellations made 72 or more hours before the arranged start time — no charge
• Cancellations made between 24 and 72 hours before start — a reasonable administrative fee may apply
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before start — a portion of the rental fee may be retained to cover preparation costs

Specific cancellation terms will be outlined at the time of confirmation. We understand that circumstances change and will approach each situation with reasonable flexibility.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be held in breach of any arrangement due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil disturbances, or regulatory restrictions. In such cases, we will contact you as promptly as possible and work towards a suitable resolution.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from a rental arrangement with Petralune will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with the revision date shown at the top. Terms in effect at the time of your confirmed booking apply to that arrangement.
